CONFUSED ABOUT NYLON

Normal nylon will absorb water and degenerate slightly over a few years, co-polymer is surface treated, it gives about 4% higher knot strength and floats slightly higher in water, flouro carbon sinks quickly but will not pull a dry fly under. This is fact from the makers.

MAXIMA CHAMELEON

You can probably buy Maxima a few bob cheaper on EBay.
It is probably old stuff.

FOG FISHING TACKLE - A LITTLE HISTORY

We have dealt with Fog Fishing Tackle for over 40 years, Ian Burford, the last partner sold the company last year, when I phoned on his retirement I asked where the name Fog came from, he stated that this came from the Forest Of Great, where they had a small workforce of women tying casts, packing hooks and swivels etc. and keeping 3 sales reps on the road for many years.
