Over 90 years ago VMC began to manufacture fish hooks, at the time each one was individually hand made. Today the VMC craftsmen, who now use automated equipment and advanced techniques with state of the art engineering produce probably the finest quality hooks in the world.

All VMC hooks are made from the finest steels and are given an exclusive tempering process for unsurpassed sharpness.

VMC SALMON FLY DOUBLES

Over the past ten years we have sold more of these hooks than all hooks added together, in that time we
have never seen a mis-shaped hook nor have we had a single adverse comment about these hooks.

Without doubt these are the very finest Salmon Doubles available today, we purchase in bulk to give you the best possible price. It is not often that we can be so forthright about a product but this is one of them.

Needle sharp cut point, neat up loop eye (not too large to be obtrusive), brazed, forged for strength and black jappened finish.  Size 14 now available - this is a size which has never been made in a salmon double previously and is a very interesting hook for Salmon/Sea Trout flies.
