A very killing fly everywhere, 24 fish up to 27lb on the Kola, 17 fish in a week on the Dee - the catches reported to us are many. This is a shrimpy looking quite attractive fly which features Boar Bristles in the tail which flicker in the water, this is where the fly got it's name. Usually tied on a Bottle Tube with Jungle Cock cheeks. The smaller Mini Pig version which is about half the size of the standard is also popular, we tie about equal numbers of each. You really must try one. |
